Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5's storage options leaked

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S23 series earlier this month, which consists of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The vanilla and Ultra models have three storage options, while the Plus version only has two. And a report by SamMobile claims the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5's storage options will be the same as the S23 and S23 Ultra's, respectively.

The publication claims that the Galaxy Z Fold5 will have 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip5 will come with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB options, with the 128GB model using a UFS 3.1 chip instead of UFS 4.0. This is hardly surprising since last year's Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 had the same storage options.

The official unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 is still months away, but we've already heard a few things about both foldable smartphones. The Galaxy Z Fold5 is said to come with a new hinge design to hide the display crease but won't have an S Pen slot, while the Galaxy Z Flip5 is rumored to feature a cover display bigger than the Oppo Find N2 Flip's 3.26" external screen.

More details about Samsung's 2023 foldables will likely surface in the coming weeks.
